• Year 4 Take to the skies!

  Great News! After 4 days of hard work developing their estimating, measuring and construction skills, everyone in Year 4 graduated as official paper aeroplane test pilots today. Tomorrow, we will now be able to tackle the challenge of designing a paper aeroplane that can fly for at least 6 metres!

  

• Unfortunately After School Netball Club will be cancelled this week (19th Oct). Netball Club will start again after the half term break. We apologise for the late notice.

• Plaza 2 Maths Progression Documents

  Plaza 2 parents, if you would like to find out more about the way in which written calculation is now taught to your children, visit our Plaza 2 Maths page (http://www.raglanciwvcprimary.co.uk/maths-resources/) and  look for the calculation progression documents. These are provided by the EAS, our educational partners, and are common across all schools in S.E Wales. The documents are arranged by year group and calculation, exemplifying the small steps that are taken across Keystage 2 to secure your child's understanding of place value, number relationships and how to formally record their calculations. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Mr Bowen or Ms Impey.

• Year 4 Parents - Information about Sumdog Maths and Reading Torches
