  All Year 6 pupils, over half-term, please can you collect plenty of jars (large enough to safely house a tealight).  I will reveal what these are for next week...

   

  Also, please bring in items for a Reverse Advent Calendar.  Something that you would like to have in your advent calendar - a small bar of chocolate or a small packet of biscuits perhaps?  This could also include a nice scented soap maybe?  We are going to put together the calendar throughout November.  I will then take the calendar to Abergavenny Foodbank so that a family who may be struggling can enjoy opening up a special Advent Calendar.  If everyone bought 1 or 2 items in, we might even be able to make two!!

• Rags 2 Riches

  Bags are being given to the children tonight to bring home and fill!  Collection date is Wednesday 7th November at 10am

• Shoebox Appeal

  If you have filled a shoebox for our appeal please bring it to school in the morning.  They are being collected at 11am.

   

• Football Festival - Friday 26th October

  Thu 25 Oct 2018

  All children will need to wear shin pads, football kit (top will be provided), school shorts, appropriate footwear (all matches are on astro turf) and warm clothes for when they are waiting for their match.

   

  Packed lunch, drinks, coats and hats are also required.

   

  Monmouthshire will be taking photos on the day for publicity purposes.  PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL TO LET US KNOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD TO APPEAR IN ANY OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS

• Year 4 - Swimming Lessons

  On the next swimming lesson (Wednesday 14th November) all children will need to bring shorts and t-shirt as well as their usual swimming kit.

• Year 3 and 4 - Trip to Goytre Wharf and Goytre Hall Woods

  We are looking forward to our trip on Thursday 25th October.

  Please remember all children will need a snack, a packed lunch and drinks.

  All children should wear:-

  School t-shirt and jumper/cardigan

  Outdoor trousers (NOT Jeans)

  Sensible footwear

  An outdoor coat.

  We will be leaving the school at 9am and will be back before home time.

  Please ensure that all payments for this trip have been made.
