A meeting will take place for our new intake on THURSDAY 25TH JUNE IN THE SCHOOL HALL AT 10.30AM. Parents can learn about the routines and day to day information for transition into school. Parents will be able to meet staff from the school including Mrs Fiona Deakin from Rascals After School Club and a member of the PTFA who will share information about their work.
Sports Day this year will be on Wednesday 17th June. Parents and family members will have the opportunity to enter the site at 11.45am to enjoy a picnic lunch at 11.45am. The gates will close at 12.45pm. Refreshments will be provided by the PTFA
The annual school fete will take place on FRIDAY 3RD JULY FROM 3.30PM. The PTFA are seeking sponsorship for the event and/or if you would like to lend a hand during the fete. Please get in touch with the PTFA direct raglanprimarypta@gmail.com
Hugh congratulations to our Year 6 Rugby Team who competed at the Gwent Gateway Tag Rugby Tournament at Rodney Parade this week. Pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork, courage and tenacity when competing and will go through to the final on Saturday 9th May. We are delighted that the children were able to take part in such an exciting opportunity, which would not have been possible without the sponsorship and support from Powells Rural Property Professionals Limited.

As the weather improves, please ensure your child has a LABELLED water bottle, a LABELLED sunhat and that suncream is applied BEFORE the school day.
There will be an information meeting for all parents and carers to find out more about the Year 6 outdoor residential trip to Gilwern during the summer term. The meeting will be on Tuesday 28th April at 3.45pm in the Year 6.
If you would like to pre-order a tea towel featuring a unique drawing from every child in the school – please email the PTFA direct. Cash payments can be dropped off at the School Office in a sealed envelope confirming your child’s name, the amount of cash inside and how many tea towels have been ordered.
We are featuring in Abergavenny Waitrose and Raglan Tesco token collections. We are seeking donations for much needed educational resources. Please support us and pop a token in the box if you visit these supermarkets.
