Pantomime Trip
On Tuesday 2nd December we will be having a whole school Christmas trip to The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre, Newport to enjoy the pantomime, Rapunzel. We are extremely grateful to the PTFA for sponsoring this experience. Buses will be leaving Raglan promptly at 9am to view the morning show and returning at 12:30pm for lunch. Please ensure pupils arrive prior to 9am. All children are required to bring a full water bottle and a healthy snack for the trip. This is a wonderful opportunity not to be missed.
Christmas Jumper Day will take place on Wednesday 10th December when we will be serving Christmas lunch to pupils and staff. Please embrace this festive day with your favourite festive attire.
ELF Day for Dementia
Elf Day is here! On Wednesday 3rd December we will be inviting the whole school to dress up as an elf or wear something festive to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society. As a Dementia Friendly School, we encourage all to collaborate with intergenerational projects, supporting individuals within our local community.
We are not asking for donations.
PTFA Requests
If any parents are having a clear out and have any nativity costumes or Christmas jumpers, the PTFA would welcome them! Please drop them off at the school office.
Scholastic Book Fayre
We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair on Tuesday 18th – Friday 21st November. The Book Fair will be open from 8.40am-9am and from 3.30pm-4pm daily (with the exception of Friday afternoon).
Children will be able to browse with their class during the school day, but purchases will only be available when the children are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please do not send your children into school with money to make purchases.
To purchase books you should use the QR code that will be on display around the Book Fair. Every book purchased at the Book Fair will also contribute to free books to the school, which will be used to update and enhance our reading materials across the school.
