On Thursday 28th September there will be an Open Evening for Year 6 pupils at Monmouth Comprehensive School from 5pm to 7pm. Please see the attached poster for more information
We will be celebrating on Monday 16th October. We would like the children to dress up in something which represents Wales. This could be a traditional Welsh costume, a dress associated with symbols of wales, sports kits associated with Welsh teams dressing up as Welsh heroes or dress in the colours of the Welsh flag.
These will be taking place on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th October. Booking will be via School Cloud - more details to follow.
We will be celebrating World Mental Health Day on Tuesday 10th October and the theme for 2023, set by the World Foundation of Mental Health, is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’. During the day we aim to raise awareness of mental health and how important it is to get help if you are struggling. Children will be invited to wear yellow on this day and purchase a cake for £1.
We are delighted to share that Sports Day will be taking place during the afternoon of Tuesday 13th June and Wednesday 14th June 2023 from 1pm.

We are delighted to announce that we raised a total of £132.30 for Comic Relief today. Learners and staff have certainly enjoyed dressing in a costume or attire of their choice and enjoying a sweet treat at playtime!
On Friday 24th March the PTFA are organising a fun night of Bingo. All families are welcome to attend. The evening will begin at 6pm and we will stop for refreshments throughout the session. Please bring your ‘dobbers’ as there will be many prizes to be won.
We are pleased to confirm the total now stands at £113. This will be closed on Parentpay next week and the money sent to the NSPCC
