On Friday 21st March we will be celebrating Red Nose Day. Your child is invited to wear red clothing to school and sport a crazy hairstyle if they wish. Monday 21st July
Pupils are playing a huge part when developing whole school improvements. ‘Raglan Change Makers’ has been co-constructed which consists of nine committees representing every child in the school. Through this approach all pupils have applied for a role on a committee. The choice of committees are School Council, Digital Leaders, Young Climate Warriors, Ambassadors of Rights, Health and Wellbeing Heroes, Criw Cymraeg, Community Connectors, Friends of Faith and Playground Pals. Each child has the opportunity to share their thoughts when developing aspects to enhance the school. I am delighted to share that our Community Connectors who established the Raglan Community Pantry in October 2022 have worked hard with St. Cadoc’s Church to tackle aspects of poverty within the locality. The Community Pantry is supported by community groups to help families during this challenging time.
On Friday 13th October we will be hosting an open morning for parents who are seeking to enrol their child(ren) into Raglan CiW Primary School. The morning will begin at 10:30am sharing a presentation about the school’s vision, aims and objectives. Following this, guests will be shown around the learning environment by our Year 6 Leadership Team and parents will have the opportunity to ask any further questions.
In collaboration with St Cadoc’s Church, our Community Connectors have established a Community Pantry to support individuals within our locality. This is a fantastic provision which is being supported by all. Please see attached poster for further information or if you wish to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact the school office or Rev Rosser direct.
