  • Welsh Government Support for Parents

    Mon 23 Nov 2020

The pandemic has had an impact on families, including increased isolation, supporting children who are self-isolating, or dealing with their own or their children’s anxiety. The Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services, Julie Morgan has launched the new Parenting. Give it Time campaign providing information, support and advice for parents. The new campaign covers issues reflecting parent’s concerns during the pandemic, including how to understand and respond to children’s behaviour. Offering practical tips and expert advice on a range of issues, with the core three themes being: your child’s behaviour, giving your child time and supporting parents through the challenges they face. • COVID SYMPTOMS

    Wed 14 Oct 2020
Please could all parents be aware that if your child presents with COVID symptoms and as a result has a test, please isolate them and your household until the result is received.  On no account send your child back to school; even if they seem better in themselves.  Additionally, if you, the Parent/Guardian, are symptomatic and have a test please do not send your child to school until you have received your test result. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to reduce transmission of COVID-19 and ensuring that our children are able to stay in school.
