We will be launching a video tour of our school soon to share with prospective parents. A question and answer session with our senior leadership team will take place on Thursday 3rd December for prospective new parents. Please contact the school if you would like to be added to this TEAMS meeting and leave your email address.
The pandemic has had an impact on families, including increased isolation, supporting children who are self-isolating, or dealing with their own or their children’s anxiety. The Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services, Julie Morgan has launched the new Parenting. Give it Time campaign providing information, support and advice for parents. The new campaign covers issues reflecting parent’s concerns during the pandemic, including how to understand and respond to children’s behaviour. Offering practical tips and expert advice on a range of issues, with the core three themes being: your child’s behaviour, giving your child time and supporting parents through the challenges they face. You can find the advice by following the link below.

LAUNCH OF BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
As many of you are aware the children have been busy designing and creating projects to sell as part of their business enterprise. This is an event that is enjoyed by so many each year. Unfortunately we are unable to open our doors this year to hold an Enterprise Fair so we have designed and created an online ordering system instead.
Orders need to be completed by Friday 27th November
Please see the links below to our online catalogue and ordering system.

ANTI-BULLYING WEEK
Next week is anti-bullying week. In order to launch this event all children are encouraged to wear odd socks to school on Monday 16th November. Any socks will do! The children will be learning more about anti-bulling throughout the week ahead.
As you are all aware, in order to protect our staff and school and following advice from MCC, all adults working in school are wearing face coverings in communal areas. As social distancing is still proving difficult to maintain at school drop off and collection times, please may I ask you to consider wearing face coverings too. This is particularly important for those parents entering the school site. Please can we all try to do our bit to keep each other safe.

On Friday 16th October we will be supporting the annual ‘Show Racism the Red Card – wear red day.’
All children and staff are invited to wear as much red as possible to show our solidarity against racism.
We hope you are able to join in by wearing something red.
Children who have PE on Friday are welcome to wear red instead of their usual PE shirt colour.
