Please can we remind all parents that we are a Nut Free School. Due to some children with severe allergic reaction to nuts, nuts must not be brought into school under any circumstances. This includes Nutella spread in sandwiches and Battenberg cake. Thank you
We know that at this time of year many children enjoy exchanging cards and gifts and we would like to continue to support this activity in a Covid secure way. In order for us to be able to do this, all cards/gifts must be sent into school by Friday 11th December in order for the items to be quarantined before distribution. We thank you for your support in this. School will close at the normal time for Christmas on Friday 18th December.

The pandemic has had an impact on families, including increased isolation, supporting children who are self-isolating, or dealing with their own or their children’s anxiety. The Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services, Julie Morgan has launched the new Parenting. Give it Time campaign providing information, support and advice for parents. The new campaign covers issues reflecting parent’s concerns during the pandemic, including how to understand and respond to children’s behaviour. Offering practical tips and expert advice on a range of issues, with the core three themes being: your child’s behaviour, giving your child time and supporting parents through the challenges they face. You can find the advice by following the link below.
