Please see the below important information from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, who provide NHS healthcare services to our families.
Please remember that our Minor Injury Units at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Nevill Hall Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr and Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan can treat a wide range of injuries in children over 1 years old (If your child is under 1, they must go to The Grange University Hospital). However, our Minor Injury Units cannot treat illnesses or emergencies.
If it is a life-threatening emergency or your child is seriously unwell, please call 999 or go straight to The Grange University Hospital. If you are unsure, please call 111 for help and advice.

Please see below information from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, who have launched a new website for young people, parents / carers and families to access health care information from local professionals.
A great new way for young people, expecting parents, and parents to access local health care advice and guidance of choosing how to access care. Please visit: https://abbhealthiertogether.cymru.nhs.uk/.

Please can we remind all parents that we are a Nut Free School. Due to some children with severe allergic reaction to nuts, nuts must not be brought into school under any circumstances. This includes Nutella spread in sandwiches and Battenberg cake. Thank you
We know that at this time of year many children enjoy exchanging cards and gifts and we would like to continue to support this activity in a Covid secure way. In order for us to be able to do this, all cards/gifts must be sent into school by Friday 11th December in order for the items to be quarantined before distribution. We thank you for your support in this. School will close at the normal time for Christmas on Friday 18th December.
