The forecast is that snow is due to fall this evening. At the present time, we are open tomorrow. However, we will review and assess the situation early in the morning. If needed, we will provide any updates via social media and through our website should this situation change. Therefore, we would ask that you keep checking. Thank you.
There will be no rugby after school on Friday 1st January due to the weather that is expected over the next 48 hours.
Please check school bags tonight as Year 1 are bringing home a letter regarding our trip to Cardiff Museum.
We also need 3 parent volunteers to accompany this trip. Parent volunteers must be in receipt of a current DBS Certificate, an up to date Safeguarding Certificate and two current references. Please contact the school office or note your interest on the return permission slip if you can help out. Thank you.
The local authority is proposing changes to secondary school catchment areas, as well as changes to the criteria used to award places in the event of oversubscription. In particular, they are seeking to amend the criteria with reference to the ordering of priority for Sibling / catchment, and also the introduction of a feeder school policy at secondary level.
Consultation documents have also been drawn up in relation to the proposals and can be accessed via https://www.monmouthshire.gov.uk/admissionconsultation

There are consultation sessions in each of the clusters to allow consultees to hear more about the proposals and ask any questions. Details of these sessions are on the pages accessed via the links above.
Please remember that any lost property still being held at the end of January will either by given to Second Hand Uniform or charity.
