  • School Lunch today

    You may be aware that Deri View are closed and as they normally provide our school lunches, MCC have confirmed that there will be a replacement meal service to ensure there is a hot meal (limited options) available to all children in school today. There will be no jacket potato options.
  • Snow update

    We can confirm that the school is OPEN to children today (1st Feb 2019). Mr Meates is clearing footpaths around the school site. Please travel safely.

    The forecast is that snow is due to fall this evening.  At the present time, we are open tomorrow.  However, we will review and assess the situation early in the morning.  If needed, we will provide any updates via social media and through our website should this situation change. Therefore, we would ask that you keep checking. Thank you.

  • Gymnastics Club and St Cadoc's Club - we have taken the decision to cancel both these after school clubs today.

    There will be no rugby after school on Friday 1st January due to the weather that is expected over the next 48 hours.

  • Year 1 - Triip to Cardiff Museum for Sounds of the Dinosaurs

    Please check school bags tonight as Year 1 are bringing home a letter regarding our trip to Cardiff Museum.

    We also need 3 parent volunteers to accompany this trip. Parent volunteers must be in receipt of a current DBS Certificate, an up to date Safeguarding Certificate and two current references.  Please contact the school office or note your interest on the return permission slip if you can help out.  Thank you.

  • Consultation on Admissions Policy

    The local authority is proposing changes to secondary school catchment areas, as well as changes to the criteria used to award places in the event of oversubscription. In particular, they are seeking to amend the criteria with reference to the ordering of priority for Sibling / catchment, and also the introduction of a feeder school policy at secondary level.

  • LOST PROPERTY

  • Violin Lessons on Tuesday 29th January

    We have been contacted by Gwent Music who confirmed that Ms Aston will not be available for violin lessons tomorrow.  She will make up this lesson at the end of term.
