The author of our Class Reader, 'Gaslight' is visiting us on 20th March.  Eloise Williams will be holding a workshop to discuss the book, writing technique and how she researched the historical aspects of the book, which is set in Cardiff.

This morning, the children have been creating tile designs in the style of the Victorian artist - William De Morgan.  In order to do this, they have been using a range of maths skills, including: measuring length and width; measuring angles with a protractor; converting from cm to inches; calculating area and perimeter.

We have been notified of the following Safeguarding courses being held at Council Chambers, Usk from 10am-12pm:-

This coming Wednesday, on BBC1, a programme called 'Wonders of the Moon' is being shown which links to our Science Topic of 'Light & Shadows'.  It looks really interesting, so make sure you watch or record it
